Dear WMS Musicians and Families,
We’re off to a rip-roaring musical year!
Our students have already performed in school theater productions on the stage, in the orchestra pit, and in youth symphony orchestra concerts. They’ve taken auditions for HS Western Regional, performed at the Schubert Club Juniors Concert, and played in two senior concerts, one at Brightview in Norwalk, and another at Waveny in New Canaan.
Our Winter Recitals are coming up. You should have already received your concert day and time. You are welcome to come to recitals you’re not performing in too! Please note that for the Dec. 14th concerts we are at a different church than usual.
Our concert days/times are:
Sunday, Dec. 7th @ 1:30 PM – First Presbyterian Church New Canaan
Saturday, Dec. 13th @ 1 PM, 5 PM – First Presbyterian Church, New Canaan
Sunday Dec. 14 @ 3:30 PM, 5:30 PM at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Wilton
Please take note that not all of our recitals are at First Presbyterian this winter!

OUR SINGULAR SINGERS!
Congratulations again, to singer Anabel for her acceptance into the American Choral Directors Association Honor Choir! (Eastern Region) She will be performing at the ACDA East conference in Providence, RI February 25 – 28, 2026!
NORWALK YOUTH SYMPHONY CONCERT
Congratulations to many of our students who performed on the Norwalk Youth Symphony concert on November 23rd. Kudos to: Flutists Chloe, Alma, Olivia, Kian, Elisa, Raghav, Erika, Josephine, Trumpeter Lucas, Violist Jessica, and Cellists Achintya, Valerie, Nate, Hannah, Daniel, and Yumi! It was a spectacular concert everyone – Congrats to you all!
Thank you to our students that performed at Brightview Senior Center on Nov. 5th. Kudos to Elaine, Abigail, Max, Five, Eric, Finn, Ben, Jenson, Emma, Arwen, and our teacher Richard who performed his very own composition!

We have potluck parties after each recital. My assistant Bonnee has sent out emails asking each person to ‘reply to all’ listing what treat they’ll bring. Please respond to the email. All the students will deserve a feast after performing!
Songs are catchy, but so are germs!
If you’re not feeling well, please do not come to your lesson in person
in order to help keep our staff, teachers, students, and families healthy.
We have many options available so you don’t miss out on your lesson!
You can always have a virtual lesson and have your lesson from home, request a pre-recorded video lesson in advance of your lesson, or send a friend or family member in your place!
