With the start of the school years, also come auditions for area youth orchestras. Students practice diligently for these and competition is tough!
Flute Corner
Flutist Connie is Principal Flute in the Principal Orchestra in the Norwalk Youth Orchestra. Connie is a senior at Wilton HS and has been a student at WMS since she was in 5th grade!
Flutist Tanvi is Principal Second Flute in the Principal Orchestra in the Norwalk Youth Symphony. Tanvi is a senior at Staples High School
Flutist Chloe is Principal Flute in Concert Orchestra in the Norwalk Youth Symphony. She is an 8th grader at Middlesex Middle School in Darien.
Flutist Nila is Assistant Principal in the Concert Orchestra in the Norwalk Youth Symphony. Nila is in 8th grade at Saxe Middle School.
Flutist Olivia made the Concert Orchestra in the Norwalk Youth Symphony. Olivia is in ninth grade at Greenwich High School, in Greenwich.
Flutist Kirsten made the Philharmonia Winds. Kirsten is in the 8th grade at Saxe Middle School.

Violinist Anant, has been selected for Norwalk Youth Symphony’s Concert Orchestra. Anant is an 11th grader at Wilton High School.
Violinist Felipe is in Prelude Orchestra, in the Norwalk Youth Symphony. He is in the 6th grade at Saxe Middle School.
Cellist Achintya, got into Concert Orchestra in the Norwalk Youth Symphony. Achintya is a student in the 8th grade at Middlebrook Middle School in Wilton.
Cellist Sean, got into Sinfonia Orchestra in the Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestra. Sean is a home-schooled 7th grader and lives in Milford.
Cellist Joshua is in the Philharmonia Strings in Norwalk Youth Symphony. Joshua is a home-schooled 5th grader and lives in Weston.
