Kathryn Chamberlain

Kathryn Chamberlain received her bachelor’s degree in violin performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she studied with Grigory Kalinovsky. While at the Jacobs School of Music, Kathryn had the opportunity to perform with world-renowned artists such as Ani Kavafian, Joshua Bell, Vadim Gluzman, Shmuel Ashkenasi, and Pinchas Zukerman.

Alongside her work as a performer, Kathryn has been teaching privately for over ten years and loves helping students of all ages grow as musicians. She has taught at programs such as the IU Summer String Academy and Velocity Music Academy and is passionate about creating a supportive and encouraging environment where every student can develop confidence and joy in their playing.

Kathryn incorporates a technique-based approach in her teaching, with an emphasis on keeping the body relaxed and free so that students can play with ease and expression.
