The high school Western Regional auditions were in November and the middle school auditions were in December.
Several of our students made it into Western Regional this year!

Nila, ninth grader at New Canaan HS made principal flute in the orchestra
Chloe, ninth grader at Darien HS made principal flute in the band
Alma, sophomore at New Canaan HS made the band
Emily, senior at Wilton HS made the band
Natalia, junior at Wilton HS made the band

Middle School Western Regional
Flutist Kian, seventh grader at Ridgefield Academy made the band
Cellist Alex., seventh grader at Middlebrook Middle School made the orchestra

Flutist Nila, participated in the summer session of the Chamber Music Center of New York. She rehearsed chamber music and orchestral music for 3 weeks at the Master’s School in Dobbs Ferry, NY.

 

She performed in 5 chamber music concerts and 5 orchestra concerts.
